9 SPLA soldiers feared dead in road ambush

A military police patrol team fell into an ambush in Mundri West County of Western Equatoria State.
Authorities in Mundri said the incident occurred Wednesday morning when two army vehicles were intercepted by gunmen in Guli boma, 7 kilometers from Mundri town.
Mundri West County commissioner Hassan Bakheit said up to 9 SPLA soldiers were killed and 7 others injured.
Bakheit said many people are reported to have fled the town.
