Mons 2015 - Doudou

The Doudou is not just a Mons 2015 event it's the most important event of every year in Mons. Part religious feast, part Medieval street theatre, it defies easy characterization. However, every Montois and Montoise knows intrinsically that it is the essence of the city and they participate to their utmost. First mentioned in writing in 1248, the event is a UNESCO recognized Heritage of Humanity.
