Shugborough: Home of a Royal Cousin
(Broadcast on BBC Radio Stoke, May 2015)
It's a decade this year since the Staffordshire photographer and Earl, Patrick Lichfield died.
He was 66 when he suffered a stroke in 2005.
But now his private apartments at his family's ancestral home of Shugborough are open to the public to view.
The estate -- which is spread over nine hundred acres and dates back to the 16th Century -- is owned by the National Trust and run by Staffordshire County Council.
