Trials and Triumphs in Amsterdam

I have been wanting to visit Amsterdam for quite a long time, The Netherlands being a notable country I still hadn't seen properly. Passing by whilst travelling from London to Hamburg via Harwich gave me that opportunity and I took it. In this rather rambling recording I talk about my experience of attempting to negotiate the city with a guide dog And nobody else to lean on for map reading, direction finding or the identification of a nice place to stop for a beer. My feelings on Amsterdam are mixed at present but I wouldn't rule out another visit, though perhaps with a travelling companion. #fb
