One Utah mom's research into the potential health risks air Pollution has on unborn children, prompted her to take extreme measure to keep her family healthy. Studies published in medical journals have linked air pollution to health issues, including premature births, miscarriages, a baby's development, and autism spectrum disorders. But some doctors say the studies need more time to develop. Doctors with UPHE.org say the science is already overwhelming - and parents should pay closer attention. For now, doctors recommend expectant mothers and other sensitive groups to take extra precautions, including limiting time outdoors on "bad air" days.
