How music is sparking meaningful memories for elderly Utahns

Music can have a profound affect on our lives. Yet scientists remain puzzled over how music is sparking and unlocking meaningful memories for those living with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia. Music and Memory Utah Coalition is working to collect donated iPods to fill with music for Utah's elderly residents.
