Kajaki: The True Story is making its way to the Globe Cinema at Gibraltar Barracks in Miley. The story is set at the Kajaki Dam 2006. A company of young British soldiers encounter an unexpected terrifying enemy. A dried-out river bed, and under every step the possibility of an anti-personnel mine. A mine that could cost you your leg – or your life. The charity screening is on Tuesday the 20th of January and will see all ticket sales being donated to BFBS Big Salute, Help for Heroes, Walking with the Wounded and the Royal British Legion. BFBS’s Natasha Reneaux spoke to Oscar winning producer of the Kings Speech and Executive Producer of Kajaki, Gareth Ellis Unwin. He explains how the film was made. Click play to hear more...
