Munich weekend: descending the 300 steps Old Saint Peters Church

I never learn my lesson. Wherever I go in the world I have to find a high hill or tall tower from which to gain a different perspective on a place... before descending painfully slowly back to terra firma. In Munich the venue for this skyward expedition was the tower of Altes St Peter Kirche in the city center, with its three hundred steps.
