BiH 2014: Nothing like a peaceful night's sleep

It's half one in the morning and the party is in full swing down on the little road below our hotel room window. The bass is pumping loudly whilst revellers shout ever louder to be heard above the din.

Inside the hotel we have the thick double glazed windows shut tight, with the curtains drawn for extra sound insulation, but it is still going to be a long night.

What to do then, but to discuss the trip so far, and our hope for the time to come.

The photograph, by the way, is of the National Library, incinerated in the Balkan conflict, erasing a thousand years of the written word.
