A Shift at the Fire Station

Fire and Rescue crews across Staffordshire and Cheshire dealt with more than FOUR THOUSAND grass fire call outs in the last three years.

It costs an average of three and a half thousand pounds each time the crews go out.

Our reporter Emma Thomas joined the targeted grass fire response crew at Hanley for a shift.

After getting kitted out in safety gear, she witnessed her first 999 callout...
