Lizard in a blizard: The strangest track I think I've ever written.
Showers are cool. While in said shower, this title came to me, and the idea for the track as well. I wanted to use all the sounds that people generally don't use on MIDI synths, and thought to myself that I would do this. I wanted it to have a sound throughout, and build upon that by adding other such sounds as well. Equally at the end, I wanted sounds to drop off until the main sound would be the only thing left. I started with the sound of the sea, which doesn't often get used other than in cheesy movie sound tracks, and the rest of the piece just followed. I wanted to have absolutely no time signature, and no tuned melody or percussion either. It's ratherabstract and I hope, different from what you usually hear. I intentionally made it 5 minutes. It's enough time to put it on, start reading your book or surfing the web, and hopefully you'll forget it's even there by the time it ends. I'd be interested in your comments whether constructive or otherwise.
