Yogic Monk and Author: "Capitalism has had its day"

Dada Maheshvarananda is a US born yogic monk, activist and writer who believes capitalism has had its day. In his latest book 'After Capitalism: Economic Democracy in Action' he argues that people need to get ready for a post capitalist world. Director of the Prout Institute in Venezuala where he teaches what he calls Progressive Utilization Theory (PROUT), a post-capitalist model to empower people and communities to create a better world. Dada visited Ireland to meet with those interested in alternative models of social change, including President Michael D. Higgins. Filmmaker Anne Daly met him at an "Evening with Dada Maheshvarananda" hosted by AFRI in Dublin.
