“Scapegoats for God”

Why is it that so many individuals still blame God, including Jesus, as being the ‘root cause’ for the state of the world’s problems. Those who are spiritually enlightened, they already know that Jesus is not the culprit here even though they still are willing to take the flack from the unenlightened! History provides us with many examples of situations where our ancestors had to find a scapegoat for their wilful and wrongful deeds to others. Take Jesus as one such example. He underwent crucifixion for the sins of all mankind. Yes, this might sound crazy that one man would consider doing this for others, but that’s what Jesus actually did. He forfeited His own life so that we could be free of guilt, negativism and spiritual impoverishment from God. Looking back over the past 2000 years, it is hard to imagine that despite our technological advancement and political correctness, etc., that we are none the wiser as reflected from our ‘cave man behaviour and mentality’ towards the rest of the whole human race.
