#RecEv: #NottingHill #Carnival 2005: Drum group recorded from my window:

Every year when I lived in the area, I would put two microphones at my window in a street just off of the Portobello road, and stream the Notting Hill carnival to the masses over the internet. I would record both the Sunday and Monday and would often get unusual and wondrous things. This file is the period just after 7 PM when all the sound systems go off, and there are street bands, crowds of people and happy-go-lucky individuals looking to go to some afterparty and continue to have fun. Thankfully I wasn't quite in a position to stop the recording just yet and a good job I didn't, as I captured this great sound.
