Empty Cold War bunkers are saving bats' lives. These bunkers are providing warmth and safety from a killer fungal disease called white nose syndrome. White nose syndrome is a fungal growth around the bats' muzzle and wings. Scientists are trying to save more bats by cleaning these bunkers.
