Toxic Caterpillars to be Targeted by Helicopters -- Katie Alexander

Toxic caterpillars that feed on oak trees will be sprayed with a bacterial agent that occurs naturally in the soil called ballicus thuringensis. Herridge and Broom's 25 acre grove and a 2.5 acre block of privately owned trees will be sprayed twice within a two week period, with the help of helicopters.
