Researchers have found a way to put tiny electronic devices in the brains of rodents without harming them. In the past, the researchers could put such devices straight into the brain tissue, which caused damage. Tae-il Kim now can put LEDS, which are a type of light source, in the rodents' brain while they walk freely around their cage, and these LEDS might be used later in the future.
