Mars is a very extreme planet, geographically. With Olymps Mons, the tallest mountain in the solar system, and Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in the solar system, scientists have been closely studying Mars. They've discovered the cause of the massive canyons, but they find reasons to deny their answer to the question: What caused the massive canyons?
