Due to global warming, air turbulence is a threat to trans-atlantic flight passengers. When a layer of fast-moving air moves alongside a layer of slower-moving air, clear air turbulence happens. Pilots cannot detect clear air turbulence on their instruments, therefore increasing that danger of the whole situation.
