Mark Page

With the merging of TFM with Metro from this Monday (April 8th) we effectively lose yet another link back to the original tranche of 19 ILR stations that launched in the 1970s.
Radio Tees, as it was back then, offered me my first taste of local commercial radio although, being in East Yorkshire, I was well outside its main transmission area. Alongside the likes of Dave Gregory, Steve Gordon and Brian Anderson was one Mark Page, or “Me Mark Page” as he fashioned himself. Recalling those days here’s Mark in conversation with John Foster of BBC Radio Tees.
