Spycatcher

Peter Wright's book Spycatcher was first published in Australia in 1985 but was swiftly banned by the English courts. In those pre-internet days you'd have only got a copy by smuggling it into the country, though that wasn't too difficult as it was on sale in Scotland. Such was the book's notoriety that a Danish radio station serialised readings and broadcast them across Europe. This transmission was recorded on 14 August 1987. #Radio
