The Greatest commandment is Love

The greatest commandment in Christianity is "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind". Jesus said this in response to a question from a Pharisee who was trying to stump him. Jesus continued, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself". Most Christian denominations believe that these two commandments are the core of the Christian faith. The second commandment is similar to the Golden Rule. 


The Bible says that all other commandments and acts of faith, belief, and obedience depend on these two commandments.
