Fresh from CMA Fest and still on tour, Old Dominion chopped it up with Scotty Kay on US 99 to talk about their upcoming tour, their process of selecting music as a group, and even had time for a fun game of 'Wrong Lyrics Only.' As the No Bad Vibes Tour continues, the group talked about how they refuse to let any concertgoers with bad vibes ruin the show. "We've definitely had to stop a show. It's important to us because when something like that happens, it affects a lot of people... Everyone's paid money to see the show so we definitely don't want the hundred people around the problem to miss a couple songs or whatever because of one jerk," they agreed. The group also revealed that their fans hold a lot of weight in the decisions they make on what songs are played on tour: "There are big portions of the show that are dictated by the fans," they say. However, when it comes to choosing to create songs as a group, they shared sometimes it just comes down to a raised-hand vote, or maybe "one person saying, 'I really really care about this song," they admit. Adding that even choosing which singles get released first sometimes is a struggle.
