Marshall Fairbrother is a totally blind composer, songwriter, musician and producer in his early 20s from the midlands who has carved out a career in the music industry and as well as releasing his debut song this June “How They Were’ he also has helped to set up a regular music session for anyone who is visually impaired who wants to learn an instrument, jam with other musicians and even gig too.

RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey recently caught up with Marshall not only to find out more about his debut song ‘How They Were’ but also to find out a bit more about how he got into music and producing as a blind person, how accessible working in the studio might be for someone who is blind or partially sighted and more about those music sessions that are open to anyone who is visually impaired living in the Midlands who wants to learn an instrument and jam with other people too.
