Melissa in the Morning: Redistricting in Westport

Dozens of students could be impacted by school redistricting in Westport.  The Board of Education has approved the plan, which would be implemented in two phases and impact multiple elementary schools.  The goal is to create better balance across the five elementary schools as they prepare for the opening of the new Long Lots Elementary School in 2027. We spoke with Westport’s Superintendent, Tom Scarice, to understand the process more and what to expect next.
