Don't Upset This Doll

It was the early 1900s when a young Robert Eugene Otto, or Gene, as he usually went by, was given a new toy - a 40” tall life-sized straw filled doll. Little Gene loved his new doll, as many kids do. He named the doll Robert, after his own first name, and brought the doll everywhere with him. Gene even crafted Robert his own little room in the attic of the home, with his own furniture and toys, including the dolls own little stuffed teddy bear. But his friendship with his new doll grew...strange.
