In our eighth episode of Pearls' Tales from the Superyacht Laundry, we sit down with Liezl Stylo, an ex-Chief Stew who did an 11-year stint in the industry cruising some of the world's most exotic destinations and then unexpectedly found herself in motherhood.

After a sabbatical from her career as a solicitor in South Africa, Liezl travelled the world and met her husband in India. Upon hearing about yachting they headed to the US and experienced their first taste of the yachting world. Her journey in yachting wasn't the easiest, and she talks candidly about her experiences.

She met a spiritual teacher as a guest, and later found herself in a yoga training facility in Sweden for three months. With no real plan to exit the industry, she did and went on her own spiritual journey, completely cut off from the world for these months.

After falling pregnant and relocating to France, Liezl still navigates the French way of life as an expat. While doing so, her Yummy Mummy brand was born—facilitating connection, education, and kindness. Initially wanting to meet new people, her brand exploded, and she is now expanding the movement to other countries.

The episode delves into many topics, such as the role of women onboard, positive change in the industry, how to decide whether to have children and the balancing act of women having it all.

Tune in to hear Liezl's journey of living her purpose and staying true to her vision, including some explicit stories from Saudi…
