Scarlett Humphrey on Her Final Swimming Race of Her First Paralympic Games
Season 2, Episode 710, Sep 06, 07:13 AM
More from the swimming at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games as RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey catches up with Scarlett Humphrey just after competing in her final race of her first games with a 6th in the SB11 Women’s 100 Metre Breaststroke final in a time of 1:30.61.
Scarlet reflects on her first Paralympic Games for her and twin sister Eliza, competing in the 4 x 100 metres relay the night before with fellow visually impaired Paralympics GB swimmers Rebecca Redfern, Matthew Redfern and Stephen Clegg and a great showcase from the swimming in Paris which Scarlet hopes will encourage other visually impaired people to take up the sport too.
