My thoughts having just watched the documentary called Alone in the Wild. It was made back in 2009 and stars the film maker Ed Wardle surviving in the Canadian Yukon wilderness area. I was amazed by the concept and it was an interesting look at the effects solitude has on the human mind. I've been fascinated by the Canadian wilderness for a long while now and I'm a huge fan/disciple of Ray Mears. I've read books, I've practiced bushcraft, I've foraged for food in an amateur way, would I be able to deal with the solitude?
