198: Karl Beckstrand ~ Encountering Miracles In Unlikely Places

It is with pleasure that I introduce everyone to my guest this week, Karl Beckstrand! Karl is a wonderfully complex human (like all of us) and we had a great discussion around ancestral stories, the stories we tell ourselves, and how stories shape this world. But it was his miracle story this week that got me ~ how, after a life shaped by his addiction to sex, Karl suddenly found the healing and the answers that he was looking for! (and guess what everyone...it was in the place that he least expected it!)
And I think that a lot of things are like this in this life-that we are eternally looking for answers...or any sort of help around the issues that we are muddling through, and sometimes, those answers are in places that we are not ready to go to yet! Your bit of beauty this week comes from an astonishing video shot off of Australia! (I admit it, I am a little late to the party as this happened 9 months ago!) A whale was giving birth and sharks were gathering...suddenly, from EVERYWHERE, dolphins appeared, and helped defend the calf and mother from the sharks! It is truly a jaw-dropping sight to see!
