(LC 8/29) In her August podcast, poet/author Maureen McDole celebrates her freedom to write and pursue her passions all day as her child is now a high school graduate.  She read Mama from "Longing for the Deep End", Dear One for her lovely child James; A Boyd Hill Kind of Day, an homage to her father who passed one year ago in August; Fisher Wishing as a tribute to beginning a new season of life; and A Poet All Along about the joy of realizing her dreams and pursuing them daily.

Maureen McDole has a new poetry book coming out in 2025 – Mending the Nets. As she celebrates new milestones – a new home, her child’s high school graduation – she read from her collections and upcoming book these poignant poems revolving around climate change, nature and the environment: No More Dolphins; It's Time, Clouds, Trees and The Garden.   Maureen is also the executive director of Keep St. Pete Lit. Join her and Keep St. Pete Lit at the Open Poetry Mic at Studio@620 the first Wednesday of the month and other events https://keepstpetelit.org/pages/events, including their book club upstairs at the Florida CraftArt Gallery on the second Wednesday of the month. https://keepstpetelit.org/pages/book-club https://maureenmcdole.com/ #poetry #maureenmcdole #keepstpetelit #nanettewiser #studio@620 #floridacraftartgallery #writingclasses #author #poet #tampabay #radio #radiostpete
