MURDER: Heaven LaShae Ross

On the morning of August 19, 2003, 11-year-old Heaven LaShae Ross, known as "Shae," left her home in Northport, Alabama, to catch the bus for school, but she never made it. Despite extensive searches and national media attention, there was no sign of Shae for over three years. Then, in December 2006, her remains were discovered beneath an abandoned house just eight miles from her home. She had been murdered.
It’s been 21 years since Shae was abducted and murdered and investigators are still searching for the person responsible…
On the morning of August 19, 2003, Heaven LaShae Ross, known as “Shae,” disappeared from the Willowbrook Trailer Park in Northport, Alabama, while on her way to the bus stop. Over three years later, her remains were found beneath an abandoned house off 44th Court in Holt, about eight miles from her home.
