RNIB Chief Executive Matt Stringer's Weekly Update

Season 2, Episode 677,   Aug 16, 08:00 AM

Each week we sit down with Matt Stringer, CEO of RNIB, to look at some of the big stories coming from the UK sight loss charity.

This week it is all about access for blind and partially sighted people as Matt started by talking about accessible voting following on from the handing in of a letter to No 10 Downing Street on Wednesday afternoon calling on the Prime Minister to make voting accessible, independent and in secret for visually impaired people.

Then to accessible banking following on from a recent dinner Matt attended at the Bank of England plus some up-coming meetings he is having with key players in the financial sector to ensure that their services are accessible to visually impaired people.

With Matt ending the update on accessible technology following on from a visit he made this week to Dolphin computer Access in Worcester.
