This week Caroline and Cecile look at a week rife with incidents, including a yacht fire off the coast of Sardinia that resulted in the yacht’s loss, the well publicised slow collision of Lady Moura and Venus, and the sinking of Lovebug in the Chasepeake Bay. They also discuss the recent wrongful-death lawsuit filing by the family of French diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet, which comes a bit more than a year after the June 2023 Titan submarine tragedy. On more positive news, they talk about Cecile’s recent trip to the Exumas and the strange history of Norman’s Cay, the debut of a secretive new 78-metre yacht by Admiral and Lobanov Design, and highlight a few of many interesting debuts at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
