In this week’s special preview of the 2024 Vuelta a España, Daniel Friebe is joined by two of the guests who’ll also feature in our daily Vuelta podcasts over the next three weeks, Fran Reyes & Rob Hatch.
First, there’s a round-up of the major headlines since our last episode. It’s then time to slip into Vuelta mode, first as we discuss the riders, then the route on which they’ll do battle.
Three-time champion Primož Roglič has already won his race to get fit in time for the Gran Salida…& Daniel speaks to his DS, Rolf Aldag, about how he did it. We also discuss some of the other talking points, like Sepp Kuss’s chances of defending his 2023 crown & the UAE multi-headed monster.
