Episode 2781,   Jul 16, 08:41 AM

"In South Sudan, most of the people in need of humanitarian assistance live in remote areas which are mostly cut off due to poor road network, UNHAS comes in to fill this gap by ensuring that no one in need of assistance is left behind," Geoffrey Mwangi, Head of the UN Humanitarian Air Service in South Sudan tells Radio Miraya.
UNHAS celebrates 20 years of serving vulnerable communities through facilitating transport services for humanitarian aid workers in South Sudan and other countries across the globe.
Mwangi says the milestone is an opportunity to appreciate and acknowledge partnerships they have made with UN agencies, NGOs and local communities served by UNHAS.
