Girls' Education South Sudan prepares for 2024 cash transfers, includes boys with disabilities

Girls' Education South Sudan (GESS) has started the validation process for the 2024 cash transfers to girls who are beneficiaries of the programme. The validation is a verification procedure that seeks to ascertain that the assistance reaches the intended beneficiaries. GESS has adjusted its reach to include boys with disabilities. British Embassy Development Director, Kobe Bentley says it is part of an equity effort in  providing educational opportuinities to those in need. GESS Team Leader, Daniel Gesaka says the upcoming support for education will include intensification of professional support for teachers so that the girls can access quality education.
