As we all might be gearing up for the summer months with more time out and about whether that is in our gardens, taking a stroll n a local park or maybe time on the beach whether that is here in the UK or abroad, so for this week’s check in with Glasgow based Pharmacist Elizabeth Roddick it is all about the things we should all be thinking about at this time of the year around keeping cool and out of the midday sun.

As well as advice about sun protection Elizabeth also talks about the potential dangers of heat stroke, who might be at greater risk of the dangers of heat stroke and what to do around trying to prevent getting heat stroke.

With Elizabeth ending this week’s check in with her thoughts and comments around the recent reports that some sunscreens have been found not to be giving people adequate protection from the sun’s rays.
