This is the amazing tale of the life and death of a giant – critically endangered --Smalltooth sawfish that was found swimming, oddly, in the waters off Bay Pines recently – furthest north this species of fish has ever been seen!  The fish succumbed to a mysterious “circular swimming” disease that is affecting, not only the Smalltooth sawfish, but also tarpon, grouper and many other Florida Gulf fish – alarming fishermen, wildlife biologists and scientists across Florida.
