UNHCR Regional Director: Reflections on establishing sustainable livelihoods for refugees in South Sudan

On his visit to South Sudan, Regional Director of the UNHCR for East and Horn of Africa and Great Lakes, met refugees who are determined to change their lives. Mamadou Dian Balde speaks about the initiatives that are implemented by the agencis through donor support to establish sustainable livelihoods. Balde highlights that countries that are hosting refugees need support from the international community so they can invest on reintergrating those who have been displaced.
