As the global community marks World Refugee Day, in South Sudan, several crises are increasing the numbers of displaced persons. The war in the neighbouring Sudan has forced many to cross into South Sudan. Conflict and floods in South Sudan continue to displace thousands of people. In the programme, European Union's Head of Cooperation Gabriel Leonte, UNHCR Assistant Representative for Protection Gloria Fabian Nyaki, and IOM Head of Operations Asar Ul Haq Muhamad are in conversation with Radio Miraya's Lucy Kiden. From life saving support to development interventions like education and support for employment opportunities, the three organisations are improving the lives of those who are forced to flee.
