- Drama in final minutes as Suzuki ERT loses an engine
- This causes J. Rea to crash from the lead after a long time before the red was displayed
- Yamaha initially declared winners for 5th race in a row after Kawasaki are excluded via the Mahias Rule™
- Kawasaki files a protest, such rule isn't in the FIM EWC regs, and thus, are reinstated as winners
- Red Bull Honda complete podium in 3rd, after dominating testing
- SRT Kawasaki wins FIM Endurance World Championship

- But only just, as Rosenqvist takes first podium and narrowly misses first career victory by 0.093s!
- Dixon also has incredible duel with Power who finishes 4th
