South Sudanese supply companies falling victim to fake NGO scams

South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission – RRC has issued a warning to the public and supply companies to do their due diligence through RRC, before responding to tenders advertised on NGO Forum. The RRC says it has so far received reports of possible scams from over 16 supply companies. These scams are reportedly perpetrated by suspected organized criminals who operate as registered NGOs.
Dominic Michael Genge, the registrar for NGOs at the RRC says due diligence is important when companies are responding to tender calls.
