In the late summer of 79 AD, Ancient Rome experienced one of the most deadly volcanic eruptions in history. The eruption completely obliterated everything in its wake, leaving a death toll of over 20,000 souls. Today I am telling you the story of the infamous eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
