Malaria vaccines are safe: UNICEF

The UN children's agency (UNICEF) is encouraging parents to vaccinate their children against malaria when the vaccination campaign opens up in July.
The call follows the arrival of 645,000 doses of R21 malaria vaccines, expected to be rolled out to 28 counties with the highest malaria burden in the country.
UNICEF South Sudan officials, Immunisation Specialist, Patti Samuel and Social and Behaviour Change Specialist, Atem Agot speak about wide ranging issues in the fight against malaria.
They emphasize that the vaccine is among a number of measures and efforts that are deployed to combat the disease.
