Former London and Ibiza club runner, rave MC and dance music journalist, Kirk Field has worked in the night-time industries for four decades.
Armed with “two fingers and the truth”, Kirk Field’s critically acclaimed debut ‘Rave New World: Confessions of a Raving Reporter’ was hailed as a modern cult classic and became the UK’s most popular hardback and audiobook in dance music/club culture.
In 2024 his narrated audiobook was nominated for an ARIA Award and his spoken word live show is booked for a run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
His follow up, ‘Planes, Trains & Amphetamines’ tells the inside story on clubbing travel.
Kirk lives in Devon with his family, a cat which is mute, and his tinnitus which sadly isn’t.
