00;00;00;00 - 00;00;14;10 Speaker 1 today I'm really excited because we're talking about so I'm calling out a couple brands today and I feel as though that it's important to call out some of these food brands because so many of us use them.
00;00;14;12 - 00;00;36;03 Speaker 1 I used to. So I'm sure some of you are still using them. So we got to talk about some things that I think that you absolutely should remove from your diet or remove from your lifestyle. Starting today, not just your lifestyle, but the whole family's lifestyle so that you can be on your way, particularly when it pertains to erectile dysfunction.
00;00;36;03 - 00;00;40;14 Speaker 1 But as you know, that is really has to do with the whole body.
00;00;40;14 - 00;00;48;28 Speaker 1 I'm Dr. Rachel, and this is Give me any
00;00;49;26 - 00;00;53;16 Speaker 1 the show that helps you get hard so that you can breathe easy.
00;00;54;02 - 00;01;01;29 Speaker 1 Food supplements, exercise is the latest and greatest technology if it helps you get up. I'm going to talk about it.
00;01;01;29 - 00;01;03;18 Speaker 1 it's about elevating your manhood,
00;01;03;18 - 00;01;06;18 Speaker 1 It's about electrifying your sex life.
00;01;10;11 - 00;01;11;13 Speaker 1 One letter,
00;01;11;13 - 00;01;12;16 Speaker 1 one voice.
00;01;12;16 - 00;01;13;22 Speaker 1 Shout it out.
00;01;14;01 - 00;01;21;01 Speaker 1 Give me an easy.
00;01;21;01 - 00;01;46;15 Speaker 1 Hello and welcome to give me any. And this week I want to start with a very special question. It's our ultimate stiffness Question of the week brought to you by the ultimate stiffness bundle or information on how you can get access to that is actually in the show notes. Each week I'll select one of the best questions that you've submitted, and I'm going to answer it right here.
00;01;46;18 - 00;01;48;18 Speaker 1 So today's question is
00;01;48;19 - 00;02;13;13 Speaker 1 Hi, doc. I saw your video and I decided to follow you, and I listen to your videos and sounds like you share some great information as a physician. But I want to ask you a question about my B12 and my iron levels. So I have get some tests done and my B12 levels were very high and my iron levels were very low.
00;02;13;15 - 00;02;18;13 Speaker 1 So my question to you is, should I be concerned? Thank you.
00;02;18;15 - 00;02;40;12 Speaker 1 All right. So this is a great question. And it always brings us back to this concept of levels in lab levels. And when it comes to vitamin B12, I find that if I have a gentleman whose vitamin B12 levels are elevated, it's actually because he's taking a vitamin or nutrient or a supplement that actually has vitamin B12 in it.
00;02;40;15 - 00;03;05;20 Speaker 1 So which brings me to my next point, which is that whenever you're supplementing, whether it's vitamin B12, whether it's vitamin D, whatever it is that you're taking into your body on a regular basis, you really want to check in and make sure that it's doing what it's supposed to do. And the best way to check in is actually to follow up and have your levels checked after you've been on it.
00;03;05;21 - 00;03;25;18 Speaker 1 So, for instance, a lot of people are taking vitamin D, vitamin D3, vitamin D, too. Well, a couple things. One, with that, vitamin D, you want to make sure you're taking magnesium alongside of it so that your body can actually use that vitamin D. But the other thing is you don't want to just pump vitamin D in your body without ever checking it.
00;03;25;21 - 00;03;59;23 Speaker 1 So I think this is one of the biggest things that we got. We have to just push forward is that you can actually measure the levels of whatever it is that you're taking and see if it's actually doing your body any good. Because if you're taking like like, for instance, take, say you're taking a ton of B12 or is actually hidden in some powder that you're putting into your smoothies or what have you, if your body if you're taking in a large amount of it, but your body isn't registering it on the lab, we've got to figure out what's happening to it.
00;03;59;23 - 00;04;19;06 Speaker 1 Where is that going? Because everything that goes in your body has to get used, has to get used up and then put out. So it's very important that you not just put yourself on a vitamin regimen or a supplement regimen, but that you also are following up with the labs to make sure that it's doing whatever it was that you designed it to do in the first place.
00;04;19;06 - 00;04;30;09 Speaker 1 that is the ultimate stiffness question of the week. If you want to submit your question, you can call 219 203,000. That number is in your show notes as well.
00;04;30;07 - 00;04;45;04 Speaker 1 Coming up, buyer beware. I'll tell you about four grocery store staples that you need to get out of your kitchen so that you can keep things spicy in the bedroom. It's the four worst foods for your day
00;04;47;12 - 00;05;09;22 Speaker 1 You've been listening to me answer all of these great questions. But the real question is, have you asked your question yet? So check the show notes of this episode for details on how you can get your question about E.D. prostate health, erectile health, testosterone, premature ejaculation and any and all things related to Men's Health answered on a future episode.
00;05;09;22 - 00;05;10;13 Speaker 1 his struggles.
00;05;10;17 - 00;05;29;14 Speaker 1 And I just always felt like if he had access to this type of information when he was going through it, things might have been different. So if you're enjoying give me an E, if you've gotten something out of the podcast, share it with someone that you think might benefit from it as well. All right. Okay. Well, let's get back to Jimmy in a.
00;05;29;14 - 00;05;31;14 Speaker 1 you think might benefit from it as well.
00;05;31;16 - 00;05;34;21 Speaker 1 All right. Okay. Let's get back to giving a.
00;05;34;21 - 00;05;46;25 Speaker 1 sex life, I want you to visit the Dr. Rachel Institute. The link is below and browse through some of the products that I've created and some that I'm sharing in this space for you.

00;06;10;00 - 00;06;53;03 Speaker 1 This one comes from Rodney Clayton. Hey, doc, I've been on your nitric oxide supplement and my blood pressure has regulated it from 160 over 90 to 130 over 82, and it's holding steady a more alert and get up with good stamina. I like it. Will I freaking love it. Listen, if we could do one thing in the community, it would be to get blood pressures down to a level that's right for you.
00;06;53;06 - 00;07;22;13 Speaker 1 Because as we know, we've talked about high blood pressure, you know, blood pressure coursing at a high speed, going through the blood vessels, not only bangs into organs and can cause damage, but also slowly over time, just eats away at your the whole integrity of your system. So that's why ultimately this is one of my big goals is to to help us eradicate hypertension and blood pressure issues in the community.
00;07;22;15 - 00;07;58;11 Speaker 1 And one thing is that the supplement that I advocate for is a nitrate based supplement. And it was one of the first ways that the doctors were using to control hypertension and blood pressure. It's potassium nitrate. It is created in the lab, but it's basically potassium and nitrate combined together. And the thing that I love about potassium nitrate and nitrate based supplements is that the science is really clear that nitrates not only can help lower blood pressure, but they also can help repair the arteries at hand.
00;07;58;11 - 00;08;17;01 Speaker 1 And so that's one of the reasons that I that I advocate for that supplement, because I've only seen good things. Every now and then I'll have a gentleman complain of a side effects. Like I had one gentleman complain that it gave him a headache. Another one complained that it aggravated his reflux. And those have been the two biggest complaint.
00;08;17;01 - 00;08;36;24 Speaker 1 And then some guys have said it just has to work for them. But I think it's just like anything else that we talk about that you read about that you learn about that, you know about, You got to see what works for you and then go off on that on that tangent, because we're all so, so different. But I know particularly for African-Americans, we have trouble making nitric oxide.
00;08;36;26 - 00;09;19;13 Speaker 1 You know, we genetically have a deficiency in nitric oxide synthase and in every human being on the planet as we age, our ability to make nitric oxide reduces anyway. So you couple that with the fact that genetically you may not be doing it in the best way, shape or form. This nitrate based supplements or nitrate based smoothies or nitrate based diets help you make more nitric oxide and they help heal the part of the blood vessel that is responsible for for the process.
00;09;23;09 - 00;09;36;19 Speaker 1 what are the worst, the four worst things that you could be eating food wise or that you could be doing food wise that is wreaking havoc on your erections and your overall health.
00;09;36;22 - 00;10;03;27 Speaker 1 So I'm going to start with the worst one, because I feel as though this is the one that so many of us use. And, you know, I'm calling out the brand. Yeah. Yep. And I want you to look at the label on Coffee-mate. Now, this creamer is in every office in America. It's in every hospital. Staff's waiting area.
00;10;04;00 - 00;10;29;13 Speaker 1 It is all over the place. It's at the, you know, the gas station. If you decide to run in and get some coffee, this is the type of stuff that they're using. So let's talk about it. Not just the powdered one, but the milk one. What makes Nestlé Coffee-mate so bad for you? So this goes back to turning this bottle over and looking at the label.
00;10;29;19 - 00;11;16;14 Speaker 1 When you look at the back of the label, you will see that this is very high in canola oil and they'll call it refined vegetable oil. They'll call it refined canola oil. But listen, it is very clear that a diet high in Linoleic acid, which is what canola oil is high in. Now, I'm going to tell you this, but I also tell you if you go to the leading heart organization in America and you look up healthy oils, they're going to tell you that these oils are very healthy and I'm not going to mention any names, but I think it's it's an atrocity when in a majority of the European countries, this stuff is freakin
00;11;16;14 - 00;11;56;07 Speaker 1 banned. Right. So let's just kind of look at one study, for instance, here, the use of dietary lentil linoleic acid for secondary prevention of coronary heart disease and death. So this was an evaluation that came out of Sydney, Australia, as long as ten years ago. Right. And so what they basically said is, listen, all the nutrition and nutrition is all the dieticians, all of these amazing heart organizations are telling us to tell our patients to stop eating butter and to really focus on these vegetable oils which are supposed to be so healthy.
00;11;56;13 - 00;12;20;08 Speaker 1 So if they're supposed to be so healthy and they're supposed to cut down on death, dying and heart disease, then let's see what happens. Well, they did a study and basically what they found out and look at the red here. The advice to substitute polyunsaturated fats for saturated fats is a key component of worldwide dietary guidelines for coronary heart disease.
00;12;20;08 - 00;12;53;05 Speaker 1 Risk reduction. Basically, what they're saying is everybody's telling us that these vegetable oils and all that are fantastic in this cohort substituting dietary linolenic acid in place of saturated fats, increased the rates of death from all causes, coronary heart disease and cardiovascular disease. Now, I want to remind you that blood flow to the erection is all about how disease or how healthy are those arteries.
00;12;53;07 - 00;13;19;23 Speaker 1 If you are putting that coffee creamer into your coffee every morning and you're doing everything else right and you are exercising, you're moving, you're eating, you know, you drink the smoothies. If you have a diet in your items, in your pantry are full of canola oil and full of these other oils, then you are subjecting yourself to exactly what this study showed.
00;13;19;25 - 00;13;48;16 Speaker 1 The outcome was basically I mean, replicated several times over and we still have the same recommendations from our major health organizations telling you guys to eat this stuff. I have family members that still to this day swear that since it's called vegetable oil, since it's called sunflower oil, since it's called anything that sounds healthy, that it is healthy and it absolutely is not.
00;13;48;21 - 00;14;15;13 Speaker 1 So the first thing on the list of things that you absolutely should remove from your diet now every now and then isn't going to kill anybody. But this should not be something that you're consuming every day. Coffee-mate because it's got that canola oil in it and it is high in linolenic acid and it can wipe us out. So I also wanted to show you the plants, all of the oils that I want to make sure that you cut out.
00;14;15;16 - 00;14;42;16 Speaker 1 This is I want you to start looking at your bottles. I want you to start looking at your salad dressing. I want you to start looking at your cookies. I want you to start looking at everything you can buy. And if it says soybean oil, corn oil, cottonseed oil, sunflower, oil, safflower, oil, grapeseed oil, canola oil, rapeseed oil, peanut oil or rice.
00;14;42;16 - 00;15;04;14 Speaker 1 Brand oil. You want to try to throw that out and get something that doesn't say that on it? You know, it was tough on me because my favorite salad dressing that I was using, as some just told me to look at the bottle and I just assumed everything in the house was pretty clean. I looked at the bottle and it is just as plain as day so canola oil on it.
00;15;04;14 - 00;15;24;22 Speaker 1 I was like, my gosh, I've been eating canola oil all these years as my favorite salad dressing. So these types of products are hidden in your food and you've got to search them out and do away with them. But I feel like that coffee-mate, you know, is as good as it makes your coffee taste, whether it's vanilla hazelnut, all of that.
00;15;24;22 - 00;15;51;05 Speaker 1 It's got these bad oils in it that a lot of countries won't even allow manufacturers to put in their food. Okay, So that's the first on my list. Let's see, which is next then I'm going to talk about next on my list. Now, listen, there's some great versions of plant based meat. It can taste good. They can make it taste like anything.
00;15;51;08 - 00;16;13;20 Speaker 1 But what I want us to be cognizant of is when I'm talking about these things, I'm talking about these should not be things that you are doing every single day of your life. Right. First off, plant based meat is processed meat, but there are usually three different types that we're going to come into contact with, right? The soy based type, the Satan type based type.
00;16;13;20 - 00;16;34;16 Speaker 1 It's SCIRI. And, you know, I don't know, but you pronounce it Satan, which I think is a terrible name for anything that could possibly be good for you. And then there's the kinds that, you know, using beans and things like that to really try to emulate meat. The most popular kind became where you go into these restaurants and you taste it.
00;16;34;16 - 00;16;57;29 Speaker 1 You're like, Damn is good. It tastes just like cheese steak or it's just like such and such. That's going to be the Satan. And what Satan is made out of is it's basically taking wheat like it's is actually taking the gluten from the wheat. The stuff that makes bread kind of chewy. And and, you know, like you love that texture of the bread.
00;16;58;03 - 00;17;34;02 Speaker 1 That's basically what it's taking and it is using that wheat as the form of the plant based meat. The problem with most of the Satan that you're going to encounter today is that when it comes to wheat produced in this country, not only are we spraying Roundup on the wheat to keep the weeds away and things like that, but that guy phosphate or that roundup is sprayed again on our wheat to dry it quicker.
00;17;34;05 - 00;18;05;22 Speaker 1 Right? So when it comes to wheat products here in the United States of America, they are so toxic when it comes to having glo phosphate in Roundup on it. But I would just venture to say that you should not consider this to be a something that you are going to be doing every single day of your life. So let's talk about what the data kind of shows when we're looking at when we're looking at taking a product like Satan as your meat substitute.
00;18;05;22 - 00;18;32;28 Speaker 1 Right? So first of all, I want to be very clear. I am not anti meat and I am not anti vegetables. I'm neat and I'm on neither one of those camps. But what I am is anti fake food. And the problem with Satan is that it falls into the category of being a fake food. Treat yourself every now and then, but you should not be relying on this every day as your main source of protein because here's the other part about it.
00;18;33;01 - 00;19;01;25 Speaker 1 So we have the essential, essential fatty acids that we have to have in our body to survive, right? So there's 20 that you just really need to have optimal health and there's nine of them that have to come from food products. We have to eat them in order to have it to get them. And they're still considered essential, which hits home the concept of how food can heal you and food can make you sick.
00;19;02;01 - 00;19;25;09 Speaker 1 The problem with Satan is that it actually doesn't have any any lysine in it, and lysine is so important when it comes to collagen production. Hello. We've got to have elasticity in order to get an erection. You've got to have elasticity. And when it comes to arteries, you want to have elasticity when it comes to beautiful skin. Right.
00;19;25;12 - 00;19;48;19 Speaker 1 So lysine is also important when it comes to muscle strength. You've got to have lysine in order to build muscle tissue. Lysine is such an important part of health that I find it very difficult to think that you should be eating a product every single day as your main source of protein that doesn't have lysine in it. So you've got to be really careful with these plant based meat.
00;19;48;19 - 00;20;11;25 Speaker 1 And then when they come out with the next level and they start making them in the lab and telling you that they're so much better for the environment and so much better for you, then then, then good old fashioned grass fed organic meat is just not true. So when you're eating these meat substitutes because you're thinking, well, it tastes like meat and it's healthier for me, it's just not.
00;20;11;27 - 00;20;32;02 Speaker 1 It absolutely is not. And so don't don't fall for that. But what you can do is enjoy it because it is good every now and then. But if you think about it, taking wheat hydra late and taking the gluten and just giving you a product, that's all gluten in orders and then putting some barbecue sauce on it, how the hell could that be good for you?
00;20;32;07 - 00;20;52;25 Speaker 1 Right? Because we also know that gluten and too much into higher concentration will cause your gut to be out of whack. So please, please, please scale back on plant based meat. And if you feeling like you want a steak, well, hell, go have one. Just try to make sure it's grass fed and organic and all that good stuff because it really does make a difference.
00;20;57;17 - 00;21;09;22 Speaker 1 So I do another podcast where I have honest conversations about every topic in men's health and I mean every topic. Nothing is off limits and it's called Live Free. Go hard.
00;21;09;22 - 00;21;14;03 Speaker 1 I want to share with you a clip from a recent episode I did with Dr. Paul
00;21;14;03 - 00;21;42;04 Speaker 1 Free card of the 3000 or 4000 plus chemicals and additives that are banned in the EU and site, only 900 or 400 or so we banned. And guess what? The same companies that go to Europe. McDonald's goes to Europe. McDonald's fries has three ingredients for McDonald's fries as 19. And when you get there and you look on the menu, it says there are three ingredients on it.
00;21;42;04 - 00;22;01;23 Speaker 1 Potatoes, oil and seashells as it is. And the oil and the type of oil they use is not a hydrogenated right. It is an actual, you know, natural oil that gives Friday and Saturday, Friday fries. And so there is no accident with this.
00;22;01;23 - 00;22;24;01 Speaker 1 If you want to listen to the full episode of Live Free, go hard and take a deep dive into your stiffness success path. You can find out more and sign up at members that Dr. Rachel XCOM or head over to the App Store and download the Dr. Rachel App.
00;22;24;01 - 00;22;26;04 Speaker 1 Number three.
00;22;26;04 - 00;22;50;18 Speaker 1 is an all meat diet, the carnivore diet. So if you know me, I'm all about teaching that everything in moderation is fine. The problem with a protein diet, some of your paleo diet, some of your meat carnivore diets is that it doesn't have any plants and you'll see them every day.
00;22;50;18 - 00;23;16;18 Speaker 1 I run across a new doctor online trying to convince you that vegetables are terrible for you. I don't know where the hell this is coming from and they're all saying is the same thing. You know, you've seen it is basically, my goodness, vegetables don't want to be eaten by you. And so they have a protective coat and they have acids in it that will accumulate in your body and make it hard for you to absorb anything.
00;23;16;24 - 00;23;43;26 Speaker 1 Well, sure, That is a huge problem in malnourished populations. That is a huge problem in developing countries. They have actually even tried to make beans and create beans for impoverished communities that actually don't have fighting acid. Right. Or that are combined with fights that will break up, fight like acid. But here in this country where we have we can balance our diet and do a little of this and a little of that.
00;23;44;03 - 00;24;11;15 Speaker 1 It is not anything that should deter you from eating good old fashioned vegetables. And what I want to do is just show you how very clear the data is that plant based diets are really good for you. And so plant based diet doesn't mean don't eat any meat. It just means that, yeah, I'm having a little meat, but the majority of my plate is good old fashioned vegetables and supply points and things like that.
00;24;11;22 - 00;24;46;01 Speaker 1 So let me share with you this this here and this is a great study that comes out of China. And what they did is they actually looked at the association between plant based diets and erectile dysfunction in Chinese gentleman. Right. And so basically the way that they played out this study is they took out they took 92 subjects who had a D and then they took 92 people who did it.
00;24;46;04 - 00;25;15;22 Speaker 1 And these people were really similar in the fact that they didn't really have a bunch of chronic diseases or anything like that. But one group headed in, the other one didn't. And so what they did is put together a really cool measurements system where they kind of looked and graded the amount of health, whether or not they had a healthy plant diet or maybe they didn't do which plants or had a really heavily meat based diet.
00;25;15;24 - 00;25;38;01 Speaker 1 And what was really clear by the end of it and what they did is they they actually had a questionnaire, they did questionnaires, they did physicals, they did blood tests on these guys. And this the the survey was about 154 questions deep, which is why we didn't do this here, because nobody wants to sit and answer 154 questions.
00;25;38;03 - 00;25;57;14 Speaker 1 But so they asked them 154 questions. And really a big part of this was about what are you eating, What are your dietary habits? And what they found is basically they scored it 1 to 5. You know, like if you got a score of one, that means you were really high on the plant, on good quality plant foods.
00;25;57;17 - 00;26;21;02 Speaker 1 And if you got a five, you know, you really weren't eating very many plant based foods you were in. If you were kind of at three, that meant you were eating a plant food, but it was more like a potato or something that wasn't necessarily all that healthy. And what they found is that the guys who had Ed were less likely to have really much plants in their diet at all.
00;26;21;08 - 00;27;02;23 Speaker 1 But they also had a lower nitric oxide levels. They found a positive relationship between not eating any plants to having higher BMI, meaning they were fatter. You know, they had more metabolic disorders. They had higher e selection levels, which are usually correlated with erectile dysfunction. And so basically by the end of the study, it was very clear and this and this was from 20 2021, it was very clear that the guys who had some plants in their diet were so much less likely to have ED than the other guys that really didn't do many plants.
00;27;03;00 - 00;27;33;11 Speaker 1 So this is ultimately what I see in my practice too, is that guys who either eat all meat and no vegetables, they're suffering. And the guys who eat all vegetables and know me, they're suffering. So what you really want to do is find a healthy balance for you where you are mixing healthy, you know, grass fed versions of meat that are organic, if possible, with vegetables, right?
00;27;33;11 - 00;27;58;08 Speaker 1 Vegetables are not your enemy for most of us, vegetables are actually going to help cure. Why do you think is it that we got so many testimonials from guys who are doing their e function smoothies and all of a sudden getting erections is because they are now eating vegetables, because they're eating them through the smoothies. So they're eating plant based more plants because they're getting them through the smoothie.
00;27;58;08 - 00;28;22;22 Speaker 1 So if you can't get if you can't get yourself to to stomach vegetables, if you just don't like them, you've got to find a way to hide them in things like smoothie recipes so that you can actually stay healthier and maintain erectile function for years to come. Right. So the next thing that this is the it's my last one because I got a four on here that I wanted to share with you.
00;28;22;24 - 00;28;52;12 Speaker 1 And this one is big Oats. Now my mom makes the best oatmeal cookies, and when I go home, she makes them for me all the time. And listen, there's no way in hell I could ever convince her to stop using Quaker Oats and to use my organic oats for this part of this process. But our oats in this country are so full of pesticides that it is unbelievable.
00;28;52;12 - 00;28;59;21 Speaker 1 So we'll share with you I'm sure you share with you this. So this is interesting because a few years ago
00;28;59;21 - 00;29;17;23 Speaker 1 EWG dot org starts studying breakfast cereals. And what their goal was is to see how much of these how of these breakfast cereals with the oats and the wheat had high levels of pesticides in it because babies are eating it.
00;29;17;28 - 00;29;28;29 Speaker 1 Adults are eating it, and so on and so forth. And so interestingly enough, they've got these great articles like Roundup for Breakfast.
00;29;28;29 - 00;29;45;02 Speaker 1 Roundup for breakfast. Part two In new tests, Weed killer found in all kids cereals sampled right? So then they go on to list 28 samples tested glyphosate detected in 28 of them, so on and so forth.
00;29;45;02 - 00;30;08;23 Speaker 1 So this was in 2018. They've actually rerun some of those test after, you know, pretty much putting pressure on some of these companies. And so this is the latest data want to know if guy phosphate is in your favorite foods so this is roundup this same stuff you get it at Home Depot to kill off your weeds So the levels have dropped significantly.
00;30;08;23 - 00;30;49;17 Speaker 1 But if you still look still going down to our oats, our whole oats, the ones my mom likes to use in her oatmeal cookies, those Quaker old fashioned oats, they still have 153.5 PPB of phosphate in one sample. The next sample had 223. The next sample had 261. And why is this so important? Why do we care? Not only are we concerned because Roundup in other countries now, the United States doesn't seem to want to admit it, but in other countries has been a associated with causing lymphoma forms of cancer.
00;30;49;19 - 00;31;20;18 Speaker 1 We also have started to see it as an endocrine disruptor, meaning that it is disrupting your body's ability to make testosterone and helping convert more of it into estrogen. We've also seen in Wistar Rats that roundup or glyphosate, the same stuff that's piled up in the Quaker Oats and the Cheerios and everything else that in women when they expose in female Wistar rats, when they expose them to Roundup, it doesn't necessarily affect them.
00;31;20;18 - 00;31;52;12 Speaker 1 But what it does, interestingly enough, is affect their male offspring and their male offspring's ability to reproduce. Right? So you got to be very careful with this stuff. So this is a great article from the Asian Pacific Journal of Reproduction, which talks about the potential pathways of pesticides action on erectile dysfunction, a contributory factor in male infertility. And so it goes through all of these great pathways.
00;31;52;12 - 00;32;24;03 Speaker 1 This is a great article for you to check out those of you who are really into this type of stuff. But just to kind of summarize it, at the end of the day, we're finding that remember, organic, when you eat organic, you're less likely to have erectile dysfunction. But when you're eating foods that have been laced with Roundup, you're more likely to have fertility issues, you're more likely to have low testosterone, you're more likely to have higher chronic disease all around.
00;32;24;06 - 00;32;51;26 Speaker 1 In some instances, there's thoughts that you're more likely to develop certain forms of cancers. And this are this part of the article actually talks about what the theory is into why pesticides can be causing erectile dysfunction. And it really has to do with the fact that, one, they like they're responsible for killing off the cells in the testicles that are responsible for making testosterone.
00;32;51;28 - 00;33;27;23 Speaker 1 They also feel as though it is responsible for annihilating that that hypothalamic pituitary axis. The communication between the part of the brain that tells the testicles to release testosterone, that seems to be disrupted with this process. And, of course, good old fashioned blood flow. We can't leave that out. So at the end of the because oats are so doused in our country with Roundup, because remember what they're using Roundup in our oats in our wheat in two different two different ways.
00;33;27;23 - 00;33;51;03 Speaker 1 Right. To get it ready to go into processing quicker and to kill off of potential weeds. So we're getting double dosed with it, double doused. And what's so interesting to me about all of this is where is going. Phosphate band? Well, it's totally not banned in the United States of America. But listen, Argentina, Australia, Austria, all these countries are working on banning it.
00;33;51;03 - 00;34;20;25 Speaker 1 Bahrain, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, everybody's working on it. Eight of the ten provinces in Canada outlawed it. Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic. I could go on and on and on. France is working hard on it. There's so much money in round up because what they did is actually pretty, pretty they they tricked the farmers into going with all the seeds that need Roundup to survive.
00;34;20;25 - 00;34;52;14 Speaker 1 And so we have a whole situation across the world where produce is kind of dependent on Roundup. So now what we're trying to do is remove from the process and the more you know about it, the more you push local legislation in your grocery stores to buy more organic, but also so that we can push to kind of get Roundup out of our food and back in the lab where it should and could be.
00;34;52;17 - 00;35;15;09 Speaker 1 Right. So let's see. So I think that was my for right. I went through I talked about the oats we talked about and all meat diet. Please don't we need vegetables? Vegetables are very important. We talked about overconsuming that plant based meat, particularly Satan. You know, I talk a lot about soy, so I didn't need to talk about that one again.
00;35;15;16 - 00;35;38;04 Speaker 1 And of course, good old fashioned coffee-mate creamer stuff is so good and so for you all at the same time, right to the to the point where now what you want to do, if nothing else is go home, look in all your cabinets, all your refrigerator, any of that stuff that you know, like your staple stuff, you know, there's ten or 20 things that we all just buy every time we go to a grocery store.
00;35;38;04 - 00;36;00;23 Speaker 1 Make sure none of that has that list of toxic oils. Right? None of them try to cut these out as much as you possibly can. Right. And then I want you to leave here and go look up our our most famous heart association and look to see what oils they're telling you to use. And some of them are unfortunately on here.
00;36;01;00 - 00;36;08;17 Speaker 1 Awesome. Great. Because remember heart, cardiovascular health and erectile health go right hand in hand.
00;36;08;17 - 00;36;16;10 Speaker 1 free in two, three, three nine says I'm a vegan since 1978, but I still have prostate issues.
00;36;16;10 - 00;36;38;18 Speaker 1 I am so glad you said that because I want to talk a little bit about vegan lifestyle. And really, if you're going to be a vegan in 20, 23, 20, you know, you have to be a organic vegan. And what I mean by that is you need to buy most of your things organic. I mean, honestly, as much as you can should be organic in the first place.
00;36;38;18 - 00;37;11;07 Speaker 1 But if you are vegan and eating only plant based products and they have been sprayed with pesticides and herbicides, then you're actually poisoning yourself. So we'll talk about that, especially when I get into some of the food items that I absolutely want you to stop, because I think that there is a misconception out there. You know, there have been few documentaries is I keep seeing these doctors pop up in my timeline telling you guys, vegetables are terrible, eat all meat, and then then I'll watch somebody else who's like, meat is terrible, eat all vegetables.
00;37;11;07 - 00;37;32;26 Speaker 1 And I'm like, wait a minute. What? You know, like doctors are getting into this space of shock value, you know? So I want to reel it back a little bit, talk about the science and, you know, let you know that vegetables are not the enemy. Sure, they don't want to be eaten, but are they really creating a bunch of problems for you if you're eating a lot of vegetables?
00;37;32;26 - 00;37;55;12 Speaker 1 And I agree wholeheartedly. And I think that the data is really clear, too, that vegetables are actually good for you. Now, vegetables are the only thing that you're eating, you know, that may create some issues and we'll talk about that. But should you add them into your repertoire? Absolutely. And every person is specific as to what vegetables work well for you and which ones don't.
00;37;55;12 - 00;38;10;12 Speaker 1 Some of them give you too much gas, some of them hurt your stomach, some of them give you an allergic reaction. Some of them might make you call, but that's person specific. But should you write off vegetables because some doctor is showing up on your tick tock or your timeline telling you that vegetables don't want to be eaten.
00;38;10;18 - 00;38;24;28 Speaker 1 So they've got special chemicals that are making you sick and all of that. Does that mean this where vegetables? Absolutely not. As doctors, we have to sell books. We have to sell products. And unfortunately, a lot of that is part of that process. Okay.
00;38;24;28 - 00;38;58;14 Speaker 1 So let's get into some of these questions, Cross says. Yeah, you're a vegan, but you eat processed foods and there's your problem. So yes, processed foods is a huge problem. But also the stuff that we spray in this country on our vegetables is a huge problem, too. So it's a it's a mix of things. So I ultimately feel like the healthy est gentleman, the healthiest human beings, are those people who have a balance in some way, shape or form a little of this or a lot of this and a little of this, but not just all in one direction.
00;38;58;14 - 00;39;26;27 Speaker 1 So we'll talk more about that so we can get that. Brandon asked on topic what happens with erectile dysfunction? Do people do better with Viagra or with the shot? Try mix? And what are the fact of penile implants? Are they safe? Are they something that's a last resort, especially for those with diabetes? I love that now now branded so anyone in the in this group here who's listening that he actually has a penile implant go ahead and chime in give your experience on it.
00;39;27;03 - 00;39;45;15 Speaker 1 Penile implants used to be a thing where, you know, we could look at the data and it suggested that most of the men who got them weren't happy with them. Now, penile penile implants have evolved. They're discreet. And most of the gentlemen that I've run into that actually have one, you know, are pretty comfortable with them. And actually like them.
00;39;45;21 - 00;40;07;13 Speaker 1 But I personally do feel like a penile implant is your last resort. I feel like you should wait until you've tried everything and the problem with Viagra and try mix and Cialis and things like that is they are not focusing on the root cause of the issue. So eventually, over time they stop working. You need more of it.
00;40;07;15 - 00;40;40;22 Speaker 1 Let's not even dive into the side effects because that's a conversation for another day. But honestly, I feel like men are best served when you try to fix the root cause of the E.D. and then you ride that out until more problems arise. But if you have E.D. right now and you have diabetes, then one of the best things that you can do for yourself is to try to get your blood sugar under control, try to bring inflammation down and to add more nutrient rich foods or smoothies into your diet.
00;40;40;25 - 00;41;04;00 Speaker 1 And you would be surprised at how just those minor tweaks coupled with it like a pretty good pump, any pump actually pump to kind of help bring blood flow and testing your nitric oxide levels and making sure that your nitric oxide levels are optimized. You can get nitric oxide strips on Amazon, you can get them from us. You know, this is the brand that I use.
00;41;04;00 - 00;41;21;17 Speaker 1 It's called Well, know our Ex. These are very good. They've got two pads to test your nitric oxide levels. You put it on your tongue and then you, you develop them and you see, listen how pink is it. If it's really pink, you know, based off of this thing here, if it's really pink, you see that really pink?
00;41;21;17 - 00;41;53;24 Speaker 1 You've got great levels. If it's really low, you're depleted. And then what you do is you kind of monitor your progress as you're going through, as you're eating more nitrate rich foods, as you're starting to heal your gut, as you're maybe even taking some of the supplements that we talk about, how are your nitric oxide levels going? Because one thing we know, when Viagra stops working, when, you know, Ed is so overwhelming that you and it's not related to mental function it there in there is a nitric oxide production problem.
00;41;53;26 - 00;42;24;19 Speaker 1 And so since we know historically and scientifically that particularly people brown people are having more trouble producing nitric oxide, then you start to have ed too on top of it. I am always thinking test your nitric oxide levels, start there, get your nitric oxide production levels up and then things start to improve. Not just your erection, but your overall health starts to improve.
00;42;24;19 - 00;42;56;18 Speaker 1 Because remember, nitric oxide is essential for blood flow and movement for your arteries to expand and to track the way that they need to for the lining of the arteries to be healthy for blood clotting to go down. Right. All of that. If you Google look up scientific scholarly articles on nitric oxide in blood clotting, nitric oxide in heart disease, nitric oxide in hypertension, nitric oxide in erectile dysfunction, nitric oxide and cancer nitric oxide and diabetes.
00;42;56;20 - 00;43;20;26 Speaker 1 Go Google it. And what you'll see is between nitric oxide and magnesium, you'll see that there's always some sort of connection to each and every one of those things that I just mentioned there. Great, Great question. Awesome. Awesome. So let's see, trying to get absolutely beautiful. Love your videos. Thank you so much. Thank you. That's what's up. Okay.
00;43;20;26 - 00;43;35;19 Speaker 1 So big truck, Intermittent entertainment and podcast says I found this vitamin still libido read is the good is the natural blood flow. You think that's good enough or I need more vitamins? Well, this is a great question. And I think,
00;43;35;19 - 00;43;49;18 Speaker 1 you can always test your level of micro in macronutrients. There's some really great inexpensive, though tests out there that will tell you what you're deficient in and what you need more of.
00;43;49;20 - 00;44;09;25 Speaker 1 And I think oftentimes what you want to do when you're putting together your vitamin regimen or your supplement regimen is really prioritize like what's going wrong with you or what are you feeling that you're trying to you know, that you're trying to do? Is it a libido thing? Are you are you feeling like you have low sex drive, so on and so forth?
00;44;10;00 - 00;44;28;28 Speaker 1 And then what you really want to do is try to get to the root cause of it, figure out, is it because my diet's low in magnesium, I'm not getting enough omega three fatty acids? Do I not have a much enough zinc? Am I not getting the antioxidants that I need and do my not getting the plant nutrients, the phytonutrients that I need to fight off the free radicals?
00;44;29;04 - 00;44;46;20 Speaker 1 Is it a blood flow issue? Was I exposed to some toxin or something that could have thrown things off? There is my testosterone low, is my prostate causing me issues? Is it that the relationship is dead in the water? And who the hell would ever want to have sex with this person? Right. So all of that can play into it.
00;44;46;20 - 00;45;07;25 Speaker 1 And so what you want to do when you're trying to put together a lifestyle regimen or food regimen or a vitamin regimen is really look at the root causes of some of the stuff that you're trying to eradicate and really kind of build your profile from there. Some vitamins and nutraceuticals and supplements are fantastic and some of them are garbage with really great marketing.
00;45;08;00 - 00;45;27;27 Speaker 1 You want to try to weed through the madness and figure out which one is your thing. You know, I find oftentimes the ones that you can just buy off the shelf in Walgreens, maybe not be the best, you know, the ones that have all of those ratings. And Amazon, sometimes those are fake, you know, fake testimonials and things like that.
00;45;27;27 - 00;45;51;15 Speaker 1 So do your due diligence. You can even contact some of these companies and ask, where are they sourcing from? Do does this have organic ingredients? Is organic important to you? You know, so so really trying to figure out what's a good supplement and what's not. Are they committed to making sure that there's no fillers in those supplements, You know, so all are there any artificial dyes in those supplements?
00;45;51;15 - 00;46;05;24 Speaker 1 Are there bunch of things, chemicals in there on the bottle that you're like, why is this in here? You know? So you want to find more the clean formulations when you are putting together a vitamin or a supplement list that you want to take
