LABOUR DAY in South Sudan: Workers Struggling Through Economic Challenges

The South Sudan Federation Workers' Trade Union Federation is joining the rest of the world in commemorating International Labour Day. The union says South Sudanese workers are confronted by a plethora of challenges tied to economic challenges. They say the private sector workforce needs more protection due to weak formalisation of contractual arrangements between employers and employees.
