There are calls for the reform on the land tenure system in South Sudan. As the country braces for the drafting a constitution, the land question is one of the key areas that needs resolution centred attention. The resource is a driver of conflict in communities and its administration is often chaotic and therefore needs legislation that can foster management that has a cohesive outlook. This Roundtable conversation contextualises the land question in South Sudan and attenpts to map the way forward in trying to resolve the land question for lasting peace.
