Birds of Paradise Celebrate 30 Years of Accessible Theatre

Scotland’s leading disability-lead theatre company Birds of Paradise celebrates 30 years of accessible theatre with their new touring tragicomedy ‘Don't. Make. Tea.’ a comical spin on disability assessments set in the near future.

RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey recently caught up with Robert Softley Gale, Artistic Director of Birds of Paradise, to find out about how the company was set up 30 years ago, some of the types of productions they have put on over the years and more about tragicomedy ‘Don't. Make. Tea.’

Tragicomedy, ‘Don't. Make. Tea.’ continues on tour around the country until the latter half of April with all performances captioned with creatively embedded BSL interpretation and audio description.
